THE ROYAL NATIONAL PARK.

It's Saturday afternoon. What would you do?
We jumped in the car and went to the Royal
National Park an hour South of Sydney.
We found a beach on the map called Werong
(a nudist beach- hopefully it'll be too cold for
too many people to be skinny dipping).
We found a trail down to a secret beach.
It was meant to be an hour walk down.
It was so beautiful.
Off into the wilderness.
Like a rainforest.
We found this amazing clearing.
It felt like someone was watching us.
All smiles as we continued down.

We got there and it was beautiful. And there was no one about. Luckily. We did resist going skinny dipping, we had to get back up before t was dark.

STEPHEN FRY AT THE OPERA HOUSE.

On Wednesday I went to witness maybe the most interesting demonstration of use of the English Language ever. Stephen Fry is a genius. There is nothing more to say. For an hour and half he just talked. About what? Nothing special or particular. We heard about how he was arrested as a teenager, and did time for credit card fraud, how he begged his way onto his A level courses and how Emma Thompson introduced him to Hugh Laurie. (Oh we love Hugh - slightly obsessed with House at the moment - We're working our way through the 5 series box set - still got to get my hands on no.6).He talked about his childhood, and even biscuits and his sugar addiction - which lead to his other addictions - including Cocaine. Oh and all the places he's "chopped up" including Buckingham Place and 10 Downing Street. You've got to hand it to him. But it wasn't so much what he was saying, it was the way he was saying it to these few thousand of his friends. A truely captivating character that is one in a Billion.
Thank god Gaz had a spare ticket.

A QUICK TRIP TO BOTANY BAY.

Apparently it's winter here. So instead of hitting the beach,
we went for a drive.(In the 19 degree's sun with the top down)
So being POME's (Which actually comes from Prisoners
Of Mother England - So aren't the Aussies the POME's?)
Anyway we thought we'd have a look where Captain Cook
came a shore.

On those rocks behind Wilko.
The story of what happened (let's not talk about
the smallpox).
Something happened lets build something.
Lets get an ice cream and go for a walk.
Ahh isn't it lovely.
Lets go for a stroll across the rocks.
Stairs to nowhere.
What's that?
It's a lovely little chair.
So coooooooooooooool.

Do you see an old man with a big chin? Or an ape?

MEANWHILE BACK IN ENGLAND.....

It's lovely and Sunny. And Little Joe is getting bigger.
And wearing our lifesavers outfit.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
My what big eyes you have.
I'm hungry.

I'll just eat the rug.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY.

Bring out the bad jumpers.
Roasties on the go.
Christmas tree and Gaz's pants.
Battle of the bad jumpers.
Stuffing.
Food in full flow.
The veggie one.
My meaty one (including sprouts).
Gaz on another spoonful of cauliflower cheese.
A flashing star thingy (from the cracker).
Gaz in deep thought.
Rusty trying out his pressie.

And trying.
Gaz and his walkie talkie pressie.
What is wrong with this photo?

And it wouldn't be Christmas without a sing song.

LOOK OUT OF THE WINDOW......

....there's a pot of gold.
