The next morning it was the final drive back to Sydney.



So it was goodbye to our little cabin.


And back into our little van.


Onto the ferry. Then we're off again.
We were just driving along when we saw a little set of stairs.


Which took us up to this.


Truly amazing deserted beach.


Apart from these dolphins.


Claire got a little excited.


It was amazing. They were jumping out of the water surfing the waves. Really special.

Then off on the road again - until we hit "Dark Point" an old indigenous gathering site. So when we walked up the steep sand hill.....


Well we didn't expect this.


Sand dunes as far as the eye could see.


See ya.


Oh there you are.


Hello there.


On one side the ocean and on the other side the bush.


What an awesome trip. Can't wait until we do that again.

OUR EASTER ROAD TRIP PART 5

Next morning we're off again. This time it's on the way back to Sydney.
We stopped off at a little place for breakfast.


With this for the view.

So we headed for the Myall National Park. Hoping that we could get a powered site for our last night. but we couldn't find anywhere.
So we ended up at the Eco Park and they had no spaces. So we had 2 choices: spend who knows how long on trying to find another campsite or take the last available "Lake view villa" - guess which one we chose......


It was awesome.


Right on the edge of the lake.


So awesome.


And a tree.

After a few games of Yhatzee (which Competitive Claire won)

This is the water before use. Eco rain water. Not dirt - honest.

And then another 4 hours North - to Coffs Harbour.




The home of the (not so) big banana.


But up a Moonee Beach there it beautiful (and I'm not just talking about Claire).


Off she goes exploring again.


And look what she found.


And again.


After a few walks it was time for bed - after a film of course.



Good morning.


Next morning Claire plans out where we're off to next.


While I cook breakfast.


The view of the front garden.


She's enjoying it - honest.


I'm going to enjoy this.
