A FEW OF THE (UNOFFICIAL) WEDDING PHOTOS.

Here are just a few of the thousands of the photos
that seemed to have been taken that day.
Until the Official ones arrive (I know it's March)
these give you a nice flavour of what happened.
There was still snow on the ground, luckily we
had our hats, it was cold.
After the "I Do" this is and the greeting line we
got to walk into a standing ovation.
Though the crowds. There were enough there.
Let's get into some food.
The carver were all doing a great job.
And then the speeches. Claire's was the best by far.
We went for a stroll and met everyone.
Lets just take it all in.
A kiss before we cut the cake.
Cutting the cake (is that bald spot?)
The hall from the top balcony.
It's time for the first dance - Wonderwall - Harry style.
Ahh look at everyone just errr looking.
A little kiss.
"YMCA.... I want to stay at the YMCA...."
I kept on trying my best to take it all in.
Aunty Sheila getting in on the action.
Claire with the double point.
Carole and Des, thank you so much.
It's time for a dance. Wiz style.
Carole taking no prisoners.
Wiz and Kelv getting down.
Marc still has the hat on while
the bride enjoys herself.
Can I have my cravat back please?

THE NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING.

And then on Boxing day I headed across to
Stoke to meet the boys (and girls)
A quick jacuzzi.
With Kelv.
....and the Rug.
Then off to dinner with the gang
(and there was a lot of them).

A great last night of singledom.

CHRISTMAS 2010.

This was the best Christmas I can ever remember.
Liz (and mum) found three amazing cottages in
the Peak District. And after all the adventures down south,
we jumped in our rented cars and took on the elements.
But once we arrived, well as you can see it was amazing.
These beautiful little places were perfect.
In the little village of Eyam.
Complete with a Christmas tree.
With all the handmade knitted stockings.
All the gang were there.
It turned into a split comp. Jo V's
....Xal.

Then on Christmas morning Jo
and I went for a run.
Leggings and all.
When we came back Mum and Steve were on
their way out, while Aunty Lorna was
furiously cooking.
Liz made an awesome breakfast.
And a few hours later it was around to the
Alexander's for dinner.
The presents came out.
Some were more loved than others.
You can't beat an inflatable ballon set.
A happy Kelv.
A very happy Jane.
A confused Aunty Sue.
Drink up Dan.
The obligatory self shot.
Ahhh young (ish) love.

Nice hat.

Liz loving the brolly.
I don't why.
Let's hit the pub. Off into the village.

Then back for some fun and games.
And some book reading.

OUR ENGAGEMENT SHOOT.

Courtesy of our Wedding photographer Steve Gerrard
(not the footballer) we had a complimentary
"Engagement shoot" the question I know everyone is
asking is: "Ear Muffs, a good or bad thing?
Ahhh.
A smiley Wilko.
And look over there.
Our noses are stuck together.
And off into the distance again.
Noses stuck again.
I like the earmuffs.
Snowball fight.
And she volleys back.

See you later.

THE VISIT TO THE REGISTRY OFFICE.

So it's off to Birkenhead registry office to prove we aren't
married already married to someone else.
Icy paths means I nearly ended up on my back twice.
And don't look back.

Gulp.
