A BOAT TO LEMBONGAN ISLAND.

Only a couple of days left so we decided to go to Lembongan Island, apparently a trip to Bali isn't complete with out one.
So we booked with "Scoot" - who came to pick us up (and a few others).
This was the the hotel that an Italian couple were staying at.
Did you know "Swastika" in Hindu means "Good Luck" - very different from the western world and Hitler. I knew he stole the symbol - I didn't actually know that in Hindu it had the same name. Why wouldn't it - I suppose.
It took us about an hour to get to the port again.
And Wilko is looking forward to it.
We had the choice of the public boat (which is quote to be "slow and dangerous")
Or the speed boat. Which took 30 minutes instead of 2 hours.
Which was still far too long. It was a nightmare.
But it was worth it when we got there.
And Wilko likes it.
So beautiful (the view not me).
Where next?
Apparently there is no cars on the island.
So we have to rent some bikes.
I've never ridden a moped. And I have to say my first experience wasn't great.
We tried to both get on one, but I'm too big, so (with Claire in control) we drove into a ditch.
We then hired 2 bikes. Obviously Claire was awesome. And I was shocking. I had another little crash, -if you can call it that, going up hill at 10km an hour I couldn't get my brain to take my hand off the accelerator - and again ended up in a ditch. With the bike on top of me - the way Claire described it I was like an upturned beetle on it's back with it's legs in the air. Luckily 2 twelve year old girls came to my rescue. So embarrassing. Not my finest hour. And how did my beloved wife react to this perilous occasion? Lots of laughter. It was funny though.

Anyway we finally got to Dream Beach (it probably would have been quicker to walk and uninjured).
A quick walk through the bush.
off she goes.
which way?
Ahh it's worth it.
Wilko likes it.
The water is so clear.
Amazing.
And warm.
So I thought I'd just have a little sit down and take it all in.
Then it's back to the beach for a bit of a read.

Awesome.
White sands.
Time to get out of the sun for a cafe with the best view in the world.
We've got to get back to the boat for 4pm.
Lets have another drink before we he'd back.
Another happy shot of Wilko.

All the other people have the same idea.
The boat back is running late so we go for a little walk.
Wilko leading the way.
Do want tan marks.
You walking home?
No she's found a boat.
Like a photo shoot.
A fashion shot.
And now it's my turn.
Fish.
I'm smiling -honest.
It's beautiful here.
As the sun begin to set.
Our return ticket/sticker.
Wilko making plans, me taking photos.
Back in time for afternoon tea.

And scons.
