A few lovely cards.
Cleo got to them first.
Si and Ellie with all smiles.
Battle of the beards.
Lots more smiles from Matty, Ben, Ian and Dae.
But where's Scotty?
This is the last photo of the night. All went down hill from here.
By the end of the night we were sniffing Christmas in a glass. (You had to be there).
Next morning (the Saturday) while Wilko was at work (poor thing) I was on the beach sleeping off my hangover. Getting ready for doing it all again.
At the Flying Squirrel.
And there's Claire and Cleo. Let me guess what faces they'll pull.
You know you're getting old when you only have one candle.
All the gang. What a lovely bunch of people.

Before we kick on, Rusty is bowing out, he can't do two nights on the bounce.

We get to wear this.
So as we couldn't take our own cameras up the climb, so I'll try to explain it very quickly.
After an hour or so of getting kitted up, and explaining what to expect, we began the ascend.
We walked out under the road. Then climbed between the road and up for about 30 feet.
Then it was a slow climb up the arch. It took about an hour to get up to the top.

Which is where this was taken. Then another hour down. It was amazing. Another fabulous present on another fabulous birthday. Hopefully next year won't be about heights though.
Thanks Claire.
And on the actual day (the Monday). Yes I managed to string it out for 4 days, Simon baked mr a chocolate and beetroot cake, yes beetroot. it was awesome.
